Mr. Winston's was a startup pet and house-sitting service looking to establish its first digital presence.
The business needed a professional brand identity and website that would help build trust with pet owners while supporting online enquiries and bookings.
The project involved creating a complete digital experience, including branding, website design, content structure, copywriting and WordPress implementation.
The Problem
As a new business, Mr. Winston's needed a professional online presence that could build trust, communicate services clearly and support online bookings.
Constraints
The project was delivered within a limited budget and timeline, requiring a customised WordPress solution while balancing stakeholder preferences and branding best practices.

- Website design and customisation
- Content structure and page planning

The Process
I worked closely with the client to establish a visual identity that balanced professionalism with the friendly and trustworthy nature of the business. Sourced and Curated Imagery
Selected imagery that reinforced trust, professionalism and the personal nature of the service.
Outcome
The project delivered a complete digital presence for a new business, including branding, a functional booking system and a website designed to build trust with prospective customers.
Reflection
This project reinforced the importance of balancing user needs, business goals and stakeholder preferences. One of the biggest challenges involved navigating differing views on the logo direction, which highlighted the value of clear communication and design rationale throughout a project.
Looking back, I would place greater emphasis on a mobile-first approach and simplify elements of the user experience further. While design tools and best practices have evolved significantly since 2018, the project remains an important milestone in developing my skills across branding, content strategy, client management and digital product delivery.
