HyperionDev University Partnership Launch System - designing and building conversion-focused landing pages, campaign assets and syllabus collateral for university-backed bootcamp programmes.
HyperionDev partnered with universities across the US, UK and South Africa to launch online bootcamp programmes. Each partner portfolio needed a credible, brand-aligned experience that could support paid media, explain course options clearly and guide prospective students toward enquiry or enrolment.
I worked across university partnership portfolios including the University of Chicago, University of San Francisco, University of New Hampshire, University of Manchester and Loyola University, with additional support for Imperial College London, HyperionDev campaign work and University of Cape Town layout exploration.
The Problem
Prospective students needed to understand a lot quickly: whether the programme was credible, which course suited them, how long it would take, what support was available, how much it cost and what the next step was.
Internally, HyperionDev needed a repeatable launch workflow that could adapt to different university brands, course portfolios and campaign cycles without compromising speed, consistency or quality.
Constraints
The work moved quickly and often under tight campaign deadlines. Copy and base page structures were usually provided by copywriters and university partnership managers, while each university had its own brand requirements and approval process.
Pages were built in Unbounce, which meant responsive layouts often had to be refined directly in the build rather than fully designed in Figma first. QA was critical across forms, links, tracking, mobile behaviour, campaign handoff and content accuracy.
My Role
As Senior Digital Designer on the partnerships team, I owned the visual design and delivery layer across multiple partner portfolios. For the University of Chicago and University of San Francisco, I was responsible for the full design and production system: Figma layouts, Unbounce landing pages, syllabus brochures, paid media assets, launch mailers and campaign collateral.
I also created paid media and email assets for Loyola University, University of Manchester, University of New Hampshire, Imperial College London and HyperionDev. Under Project Glow Up, I refreshed syllabus brochures, course cards, Unbounce page elements and supporting campaign assets for priority university partners. I also contributed to the HyperionDev website refresh by designing navigation and information-flow foundations.
I helped turn university partnership launches into repeatable, brand-aligned conversion systems across landing pages, brochures, paid media and email touchpoints.
The Process
I started by translating supplied copy and partner requirements into clear page layouts, prioritising the prospective student journey from awareness to enquiry. Each page needed to make the offer understandable quickly, then support deeper decision-making through course cards, outcomes, study formats, pricing, FAQs and CTAs.
I adapted each university’s brand system into a usable digital design direction, sourced or prepared approved imagery, built the landing pages in Unbounce and refined responsive behaviour during implementation. For campaign launches, I extended the same visual system across paid media, emailers and syllabus brochures so that the journey from advert to page to course information felt connected.
QA was a major part of the workflow. Before launch, forms, links, tracking, mobile layouts, spelling, partner approvals and campaign handoff were checked with copywriters, university partner managers and paid media stakeholders.
Key Work

Syllabus brochure system
Course brochures for multiple university partners, including University of Chicago, University of San Francisco, University of Manchester and University of New Hampshire. These brochures helped prospective students review programme structure, tools, learning support, career outcomes and technical requirements before applying.
Project Glow Up support
Refresh work across priority university portfolios, including updated brochure layouts, course cards, Unbounce page improvements and campaign assets. The aim was to modernise older materials, improve consistency and support a clearer student decision journey.
HyperionDev website navigation support
I designed navigation and information-flow foundations for the HyperionDev website refresh, helping create a stronger structure for users to explore courses, partners and programme options.
Impact
The work supported HyperionDev’s university partnership expansion across multiple regions and campaign cycles. Internal company updates reported growth from 0 to 9 US university partners in one year, a base of more than 15 additional university relationships and over 50 programmes across more than 20 universities globally.
The Black November campaign formed part of a wider direct-to-consumer revenue push. Company updates reported HyperionDev’s highest D2C revenue month in November 2024 and later described 63% Q4-on-Q4 billed revenue growth for D2C course sales. These were broader company outcomes, with design contributing as part of the partnership, marketing and revenue workflow.
Reflection
This project taught me how important consistency becomes when one course update can affect landing pages, ads, brochures, emailers, tracking links and partner approvals. Fast delivery only works when the system is clear enough to scale.
If rebuilding the workflow today, I would push for a stronger shared content source, clearer version control, reusable page modules and a formal QA checklist that connects design, copy, tracking and responsive behaviour before launch.
